Dodo is a heart-warming animated sitcom portraying everyday school life as told through the heightened emotions and fantastical imagination of 11-year-old, Joe Connolly.
Totally unprepared for the potential pitfalls of his first year at secondary school, even the smallest of setbacks soon threaten to escalate to huge embarrassment, imminent doom and total humiliation for Joe. But somehow, things always seem to work out in the end.

Lily Scott is a sweet, genuine and somewhat shy girl who loves dinosaurs, Bruce Lee movies and space travel. All things Joe loves too. Lily can often get over-excited or find something hilarious, and not notice that she is the only one in the room laughing. She also has a ridiculously competitive streak.
Over-imaginative and idealistic, Joe thinks in extremities and in his head, everything is a massive drama he cares endlessly about. However, Joe is also equally capable of being obsessive about something one minute and totally forgetting about it the next.
Frisbo
Pete
Pete is Joe’s other best friend. And the cool one of the trio. Joe and Frisbo met Pete on their first day at big school. Pete is able to climb the mountains into adulthood, that Joe is trying so hard to climb, seemingly without effort. Likewise, he is unaware of how mature he really is and sees it as no big deal.
Frisbo is Joe’s best friend – having known each other since the first day of nursery. Frisbo is the silly one of the trio. Now that the boys are at secondary school, they are growing up at different speeds. As a result of Joe’s desire to mature, and Frisbo’s resistance to it, these two best friends often find themselves at odds with one another – with absolutely no idea why!
